Comfrey speeds healing and promotes the growth of new skin cells. Comfrey is helpful for just about any skin irritation as it relieves pain and accelerates tissue healing. It also relieves pain and inflammation caused by injuries and degeneration, especially the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. 

Plantain is a natural antibacterial, anti-microbial, and anti-inflammatory, which makes it great for the recovery of wounds and for the itching or pain associated with skin problems. Plantain also greatly eases the itch of poison ivy, oak, or sumac. Plantain has been used for insect/bee and snake bites, and as a remedy for rashes and cuts.  For external use only.
